Changing DNS Settings

2. Go to: http://www.test.com - you should see Test.com Inc - Your Online Testing Center Website (has an orange oval image)

3. Right Click NETWORK NEIGHBORHOOD icon on desktop - PROPERTIES

4. PROTOCOL Tab - Select TCP/IP Protocol - PROPERTIES

5. DNS Tab - write down your DNS Services Search Order - this is your current (original) DNS settings 

Change to InterCape's DNS Settings:
6. Remove the current (original) DNS Settings

7. Add the following - these are InterCape's DNS Settings:
65.173.237.252
65.170.183.12

8. OK - OK

9. close all open browsers

Verify that you are using InterCape's DNS Settings:
10. re-open browser and go to: http://www.test.com  again - you should either see the Virtual-Domain-Names.com or InterCape.com website - 

You have SUCCESSFULLY changed your DNS settings and are viewing a copy of your website that is loaded on ICO's servers.

If you still see Test.Com Inc's website, reboot your computer so that the new DNS settings take effect and repeat Step 10.

Switch back to Original DNS Settings:
Repeat Steps 4 - 10 except REMOVE  ICO's DNS Settings and ADD your original DNS settings again.  When you go to: http://www.test.com, you should go to Test.com Inc's website again.
