| To save your password in the
Windows95 dialer, open My Computer/Control Panel/Passwords.
Put a dot in "Users can customize
their preferences...".
Ignore the other profile settings.
Click OK and it will ask for a restart,
click Yes.
When the computer restarts, it will ask
for a Login/Username. Use something easy, like your first name. Leave
the password blank and click OK. It will ask to verify the
password, leave both fields blank and click OK.
It may ask if you want to save these
settings, click Yes. Your "Save Password" option in the dialer
should be enabled.
Important:
If you have attempted to set up a profile in the past using the
Login/Username you are using now, you may not be able to use a
blank
password. Choose another Login/Username |
